Who We Are
Digitalz ("Company", "we", "our", "us") is a digital agency based in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, specializing in web and mobile development, UI/UX design, and custom software. For the purposes of Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law No. (24) of 2023 (the "PDPL"), Digitalz is the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy. Information We Collect
We collect contact-form details: your name, email, optional phone and company, project type, message, and consent timestamp. Servers process IP addresses transiently for abuse prevention. For team operator accounts, we retain email, role, activity records, and session data. Public visitors do not need an account. This version does not collect payment-card details or newsletter subscriptions.
Cookies & Tracking
This site does not use advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels. The admin workspace uses functional session and CSRF cookies and stores its language preference on the device. Sessions expire according to the security configuration, and signing out revokes the current session.
How We Use Your Data & Legal Basis
We process your data on the following bases under the PDPL: (a) with your consent — when you submit an inquiry; (b) to take steps toward a contract — preparing proposals and scoping the project you asked about; and (c) our legitimate interest in securing our website — rate limiting and abuse prevention. We use your data solely to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, communicate about projects. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. Hosting and database infrastructure are used according to the deployment configuration. This version does not send contact messages to an external email service; authorized team members read them in the admin workspace. Applicable legal requirements govern disclosures and data transfers involving the company and its providers.
Data Security & Retention
The production deployment uses HTTPS, and stored information is protected by access controls. Only authorized team members can view enquiries. The team retains messages for handling the enquiry and resulting business relationship, and administrators can delete them. This version does not perform scheduled automatic deletion. Passwords are stored as salted derived hashes, and session tokens are stored as one-way digests.
Your Rights Under the PDPL
Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law gives you the right to: know what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy; correct inaccurate or incomplete data; withdraw your consent at any time; request erasure of data we no longer have a lawful basis to keep; and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@digitalz-agency.com — we will respond within the timeframes required by the PDPL and never charge a fee for a reasonable request. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Unit at Jordan's Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
Children's Data
Our services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our forms, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes affecting your rights will be highlighted on this page before they take effect.
